Gli EAGON nascono nel 2018 dall’iniziativa della bassista e compositrice Valeria Tritto di avviare una collaborazione con la vocalist Monica Cimmarusti e dare così forma concreta a brani lungamente rimasti inediti. Al duo si aggiunge ben presto il chitarrista tarantino Davide Pinto e il trio pubblica il suo primo singolo “I Want to Die as an Astronaut”, con annesso videoclip nel 2019, entrambi prodotti presso Teku Studio.
L’obiettivo principale del gruppo è quello di far conoscere la propria musica in tutto il mondo, di creare, emozionare ed emozionarsi, ispirandosi a band come Nightwish, Edenbridge, Sirenia, Delain, Within Temptation e altri grandi gruppi che hanno contribuito alla affermazione e diffusione del genere Symphonic Metal. Le sonorità della band sono anche ampiamente influenzate da band come Rhapsody of Fire, Therion, Sonata Arctica, Ensiferum, Dream Theater, Ayreon ecc. (per citarne alcune) e da altri generi, tra cui progressive, folk, gothic, power e black metal.

EAGON were born in 2018 from the initiative of the bass player and composer Valeria Tritto to start a collaboration with the vocalist Monica Cimmarusti and thus give concrete form to tracks that have long remained unpublished. The duo is soon joined by guitarist Davide Pinto (from Taranto) and the band releases its first single "I Want to Die as an Astronaut" and a videoclip in 2019, both produced at Teku Studio.
The main aim of the group is to make their music known all over the world, to create, excite and get excited, inspired by bands like Nightwish, Edenbridge, Sirenia, Delain, Within Temptation and other big bands that have contributed to the affirmation and diffusion of Symphonic Metal. EAGON’s songs and sonorities are also widely influenced by bands like Rhapsody of Fire, Therion, Sonata Arctica, Ensiferum, Dream Theater, Ayreon etc. (to name a few) and other genres, including progressive, folk, gothic, power and black metal.
